I'm getting a b16b swapped into my car with a gsr tranny and been piecing together a turbo kit I plan on buying. Any advice would be helpful. Trying to get at least 250hp.

if you only want 250hp, save your money on the greddy profec b and use it towards uberdata and tuning at mainstream.

i say sell the motor and you'll make a good bit of $....plus i think u should go with a 1.8 or 2.0 block

and get a LS tranny and get rid of the gsr(my opinion only though)

huh? why in the world would think that the Ls is better than the gsr. for 250hp, on an Ls is just stupid. IMO

True, 250hp and a LS tranny, the gearing is too tall on it, itll feel like forever, stick with the GSR tranny....Why start with a b16b?? If you dont have the motor yet, save your money and just get a regular b16a or a b18c1, instead of starting out with a high comp. motor and having to be real careful with it....

a b16b is a hella high compression motor. Not good for boost.

it is also expensive. you are better of with a usdm gsr.

yea, dont use a CTR block for boost. to high of compression. IMO sell it, and get a LS block and a b16/gsr head, and keep the GSR tranny.

and also go OBD1 Uberdata. way more for the price.

with that you should easily be in the 250, but of course then you will catch the boost bug and want more! lol
