Ok my tans is a 5 speed and I'm having problems with it shifting, the weird thing is that it goes into the gears just fine with no grinding, But you can feel the gears coming together through the shifter or thats really the best way I can explain it, Pretty much the shifter vibrates when your putting it into a gear, I've had a few friends drive it and they don't know what it is either?????????

Somebody said it could be that the trans is low on lube? This is my first manual car so I really don't even know how to check it, Their are like three different plugs on the tranny and I don't know which one you check it with, could someone please help.

To check your fluid, pull the top most plug that takes the 3/8's square socket wrench to loosten. if you stick your finger in or something else that fits such as a paper towel rolled up (don't stick it way down in there) and you you get fluid on it, you should be ok. You may want to go ahead and replace it if you're going to check it. I would suggest getting mtf from Acura or honda. I've compared many of them and this is by far the best in my taste. If this is not the culprit, i would look at syncro's. Getting your car into a gear smoothly is the job of the syncros.

Is there any noise that you can explain? Noise while in gear, accell/decel noises or constant throttle noise?

No it doesn't pop out of gear and it doesn't make any noise either, But sometimes when I'm shifting out of first gear it doesn't want to come out of first gear, and also it only does this like every other day its not all the time( It has it good and bad days, Its like it has a mind of its own?)
