anyhow, a couple kills in the past week or two.

1. GTR Skyline .... nice car, completely stock R-34 .... right hand drive, turbo, AWD. we went from a dead stop. he got out about 2-3 cars on the launch, but when i hit traction, i went by him like he was sitting still. nonetheless, i havent seen a skyline "in person" til then ... they are badass for being so rare ..... just stock .... 13s .... no chance

2. this is the good one. im sittin at "the scene" ... an 02ish SS camaro pulls in, rumbling, camming, etc. he gets out, talking about how he just got the car back that day, dropped 5k in the motor. got heads, cams, full exhaust, etc. i ask him if he wants to race .... when i point out that i drive a civic, him and all his friends bust out laughing at me. he even mentions that he will unhook 4 plug wires, race me on 4 cylinders and STILL beat me. i tell him .. "when you get done laughin and wanna race, i'll be over here."

sooooo, finally he says he'll race me .... even give me the jump ... u know .... the "just goooo" deal b/c he thinks im slow.

i start out about a 1/2 car behind him .... im break boosting, so i guess he thought i floored it. he jumps me by that half car, so i unleash hell on him .... walk him down in one gear and pass him like he's not moving. after the race, he didnt even come back to the spot, he went home. his friends went from HAHAHA to WTF just happened. all they said was "give him 3 months and see what he has" ... i just said "wtf you think i'll have in 3 months"

i do love a nice v8, but killing a cocky one is even better.

By the way Accordm3 (good friend of mine) has a 92 hatch with a h22a swap that is an eazy 11.5 car.. Just to fill you in, I was told what is done to your car... 2much hp is a good friend of mine and also my neighbor. And my car off the bottle makes more than yours on the bottle.. Thats sad.. And just wait till i see you out.. and if you ever race me, and win.. I'll give you my car and put the sticker on it for free..

Havn't raced.. Accordm3's car should be done real soon... Trust me, my car is nowhere close to stock weight... :D And it's all about traction... not power to weight...

Reason for that is most of the new generation can't drive for poo. If you were only around a year or two ago you would've had a blast going from spot to spot running from digs (the good ol' days) waiting 4 to 5 minutes staging cause the lines were uber long....i'm pretty sure then you would've had those gears in

yea i remember like 7 months ago when i first started getting into the whole scene it was all from a dig... now its just highway.. i bought the gears about a yr ago.. but times change so do I.

ure completely right... we just dont have any places to run from a dig ne more! metro atlanta and its surroundin countys are mainly off limits because of the police.. it sucks..
but i mean metro area atlanta has alot of people and it can be very dangerous for bystanders. oh well....
