I have had three cars....my parents laughed at me when I just ask them to co-sign...so I had them co-sign my first car and after that they said I was on my own...so when it came down to my magnum I had to have good credit and lots of money saved to get such a new car....but I did it. Comprehensive, collision, no fault coverage, rental: $68 a month, and worked into that $68 a month is the $99/year AAA premium membership dues

Why?

Girl + honor student + swapped car (insurance thinks it's the 1.6 SOHC model) = kinda low insurance.

The fact that I never got written tickets for my wrecks helps, too. Got a warning for "Too Fast for Conditions" when I tossed the truck into the lake. I also go to court and get a lot of my tickets dropped. I've been written 31 speeding tickets, but only 1 is on my record as of right now, and it's my most recent.

But for anyone looking to change auto insurance companies, definitely check out AAA. They're cheap, and have good coverage.

If I told you , you'd think I was kidding. Wait for the write up once its done. It'll make for a cool story (this is the EXACT car I wanted in 1986 when it was new..and finally got it recently, not a similar car, the particular one I drove 20 yrs ago.) Parents bought my first car 92 honda prelude. Kept it for one year and bought 96 accord with my money sold the prelude to buy mods. I bought a 85 accord(lil G) to drive everyday. Got a racing ticket in my friends civic so I sold the accord. Saved up for six months(sucks not driving). When i goy my driversL back i bought a 2000 vet and had a payment. Did everything to it(heads, cam, lt's, rims) and then hydroP'd into a bridge and totalled it. Bought a Range Rover with what was left over. Wanted to sell the range so I found a good deal on the BMW mtec. Nobody wanted the range.... Found a great deal on a viper..bought that and have a payment. The range is pretty much sold. So now i have the BMW and the viper that i paid for.
