Here Are New Pictures Of The Civic

I just picked up the car today from Spray Glo. They did some great work on the car. I had them do the following:

*Shave Handles
*Repaint Whole Car
*2 Tone Green and Black
*Marble Stripe On The Car
*Do All Custom Paint Into Door & Trunk Jams
*Paint Outter CF Hood
*Paint Nitrous Bottle In Marble
*Paint & Install SI Grill
*Install Decah Lambo Door Kit
*Install Door Poppers
*Took out all dings on body

I also had new 18" black wheels put on while it was there. The car now has 5 layers of clear and the paint in person just looks amazing I think. The marble stripe in some of the picture is hard to see, unless the sun just hits it right, Its kinda like a ghost effect. The car is now black over green with the marble. All paint is new, The stripped all the paint off the car and started over.

Ed & Shirleen over at Spray Glo in Duluth took great care of me and the car, and thier painter Jason did a amazing job on everything!! He made sure it left flawless.

oddly enough, i think the marble looks pretty cool ;). but yeah, i still can't get over the whole lambo door revolution... they're just a pain to deal with getting in/out of the car. but as a show car that doesn't really matter either.

Depends, Local shows I will be in Wild due to the paint, shaving and maybe doors, But at large events like HIN, DUB, etc I will still be in MILD. So just depends on what show I do and where, But either class im in is good for me, I just wanna get the car out there and show :D

I went with the DECAH Vertical door kit so it was about $1200 shipped. You do not want to go cheap on the door kit, you will have some major problems with them if you try and get one of the cheap Ebay kits, trust me, in this case, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Yeah I have gotten some light scrubbing with the new wheels and tires, But they are a 215/35/18 so I guess it was expected. The rear tires tuck into the rear fender just a bit so I am keeping an eye on that to make sure its not hitting the tire.

THe doors are ok, i mean, i wouldnt point an laugh if i saw them. In todays "show" crowd i would think you almost have to have SOME kind of door work. They look good, and open correctly, and they look symetrical. i have seen kits were the doors look totally uneven. at least yours look str8.

I dont like lambo door, flip flop trunks, or alot of import influenced trenz. The color is VERY nice, looks sharp. If everyone likes it you contribute nothing to the scene growing IMO, so take all remarks in stride.

Hell I dropped my 2.25 in the front and 2.5 in the rear and I have 18's. I am scrubbing everywhere. I am going to take my mudflaps off and roll my fenders back (they are overrated) so that will eliminate some of that. I am just worried about when I get my body kit on. I don't want to fuck some more shit up, or maybe I just need to learn how to drive:confused:

I think i figured out what was bugging me. Is the green in the marble the same as the green in the lower portion of your car? I understand the concept, all green --> green and black marble --> all black, but it looks off to me. It could just be the picture thats throwing it off though, im sure it looks great in person.

Anyway like i said in my earlier post, props for creativity :goodjob:

No, the green in the marble is a different green, just by a few shades so it would offset the 2 tone, thats why the marble idea was done. We felt having a color between them would offset the 2 colors
