So basically i need some suggestions for what digital camera to buy. I just lost my $400 canon that i had so i guess its time to buy another one... I liked the camera a lot because it was small but it didn't quite do all i wanted as far as picture quality. It was a 5mp camera... I got the camera to take pictures in not so well lit areas like clubs, and nightime car shots... I really like compact cameras but i'm not quite sure if i can get the picture quality out of one of those that i am looking for. Most of the night pics that i took were very grainy in dark areas.
Im not limiting myself to a pocket camera altough it woudl be nice so ANY suggestions would be great. I'm willing to spend around $300, and maybe up to $500 at the most if the camera can drive me around too. ;)
If anyone knows the guy that was at the Varsity meet tonight and knows what kind of camera he had i'd be interested to know because his pics looked quite nice...
