You can put damn near any Honda engine in an EG pretty easily.

Cheap and easy would be any non-vtec motor... LS ZC
but then again putting a vtec engine in isnt really hard either

if you get a B16a make sure to get the SiR II because it is ODB1 and it would be plug and play pretty much....

Honda-Tech (http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=642479)

that might answer any other questions you have on modding a EH

I could throw u up a write on the bseries install but there are plenty on honda-tech just do a search. All the B's are the same they go in the same the only dif. is the wiring

If you go with a Vtec motor you must wire the car harness with the knock, oil, and vtec sil. unless u have a vx,si, or an ex coupe know from what I have heard all the 92 hatch car harness are wired for vtec but I dont know for sure. If you use the ls it is pretty much plug up and go with the integra ls engine harness. If you get an obd2 motor than I would recomend an obd2 engine harness so u dont need to change the fuel inj., dissy, and alt. plugs

But other than that they are all the same. You do not need motor mounts the only thing you need is the rear triangle and the stock integra timing mount. If you have a VX car you will need to repin the O2 wires there is a how to on honda-tech.com You can use your stock exhaust but I do not recomend it.You use the integra axles and half shaft and integra shift linkage

It is easy

^^ true, but then again for around the same price you can have a b16 and it would run alot better, torqueless I would say, but not bad for a 1.6L. You can check at local shops and they sell them for around $800, such as autooptions or xtremeauto down in clayton county.
