hey all i need help picking a sub for my 2 amp setup im looking for one sub not jl here is the specs of my amps i have 2

Audiobahn A8000T mono amplifier
» 400 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (800 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms)
» cooling fan
» variable low-pass crossover (50-120 Hz, 18 dB/octave)
» variable bass boost (0-18 dB boost at 45 Hz)
» preamp-level inputs and outputs
» 11-5/16"W x 2-5/8"H x 13-1/4"D

i need the cone to look clean so throw out some suggestions

from what i know i would need atleast a d9 12 inch so correctly run one

i dont care im just looking for one sub because its going in a fiberglass box thats going in to my spare well

so you are looking for a sub that is at least 1600wrms, dual 2 ohm or quad 4 ohm coils, small airspace requirements, under $500? If you are only going to get a sub that is 800wmrs then you dont bother wth both amps. Its also ALOT safer to run a single amp to the sub unless the gains are matched EXACTLY. That doesnt mean on the same mark on the amp either.

You arent asking for much are you?

my advise would be a single sub single amp setup. With your requirements though I would suggest either an Kicker L7, or a RF T2

any prolly under 500 tring to do things righteven though you said no jl the w6v2d4 would work perfectly. but the d6 or d9 would be a good choice also.
