Make: Honda
Model: Prelude Si 4WS
Year: 1992
Mileage: ~193000
VIN: JHMBB2165NC014708

I’ve decided to sell my Prelude, it’s a 92 Si 4WS. I bought it a couple months ago and about a month after I bought it I got ran off the road and wrecked it. Well I spent all my money getting it fixed and now I find out that I’m gonna be moving out west. My plans were to drop a H22 in it but all my money went into getting the car fixed and now that I’m moving I can’t spend any money on the car.

Mods: Aerogear Predator Hood, Eibach springs w/KYB AGX adjustables, 17” bronze ADR Fuel wheels, cross-drilled rotors all around, carbon fiber altezzas (yeah I know), custom exhaust w/N-1 style muffler, short ram intake, white indiglo gauges, short shifter, CM stage 1 clutch w/lightened flywheel, Viper alarm, Pioneer 3-way speakers front & back and I think that’s it

The good: I got the drivers side CV axle replaced about a month ago, replaced the negative battery cable, the outside looks awesome I still get compliments on it all the time

The bad: Just found out the passenger side CV axle needs replacing, the passenger airbag never got replaced (couldn’t find one), odometer doesn’t work (I was planning on converting to the 94+ fluorescent cluster), right side turn signal missing, ABS light is on, paint missing on front bumper, A/C doesn’t work.

Now the biggie, recently there’s been an oil leak so when you’re in traffic smoke comes from under the hood. Now I took it to a shop and they told me it was the gasket from the rotor/distributor that goes into the valve cover at a 90 degree angle. I did some research and honestly I’m thinking it’s the rear main seal cause sometimes it smokes a lot, it leaks down and hits the exhaust. The engine still runs fine though, pulls hard and the car has never left me stranded in fact I took it down to Warner Robins twice and it did it without breaking a sweat.

What it comes with: new NGK spark plugs, fuel filter and PCV valve, and I have the stock taillights

Price: $2900 OBO, that’s around what I want but I’m very negotiable on the price. I’m either looking to sell it outright or trade for something. For a trade I would prefer a 4dr but it doesn’t matter, just anything nice, dependable/reliable, & fuel efficient. I don’t care if it’s an auto either, but a manual would be a plus. I have a clean title in hand in the previous owners name.

Ok that was everything, damn that was long but I wanted to make sure I got everything. I hate to sell it after putting my heart and soul into it but my priorities have changed. This car would be a perfect recipient for a H22. Any ?’s feel free to ask. Oh yeah I’m takin the cd player with me aswell.

You were on the right track.... 4WD = 4 wheel drive... 4WS= 4 wheel steering.

do you know how much a swap+plus labor would be?? because of the mileage and all, and H22 would be good for the near future of this car. i might be interested if its not too bad.

I think Mike @ Mainstream quoted me about ~$1700 for the whole swap, labor engine and all and they are who I'd def take it to they do awesome work and have worked on this car in the past. The labor was $700 and the engine roughly $1000, could be less if you found one cheaper. The car doesn't need an engine yet per se just the oil leak fixed, still runs fine except for that but that would be up to you. If you're still interested let me know cause I'm pretty flexible on the price the car has got to go soon.
