rite now they doo....if i can get the guy to trade me these....i'll be getting them painted.....gloss black center and gloss red lip. I have seen that paint job on rims in person (on a M3) they look good. Plus I want a extra set of wheels with lip....fat five don't have a deep lip.

I could try to do the glossy.. but with the way the wheel looks its too hard to paint the inner lip on chop unless iget a straight on angle of the wheel

Ren i like your red, but it's more chrome than glossy. You and Gene should work together = some bangin results lol. The guy just told me that he is looking to get some where close to a grand for the rims, he said he got them shipped from Japan. I don't know what kind of rims those are, but 1 thing is sure......HELL NO i am not paying a grand for them. Thanx for the help tho Ren and Gene...sry that i make you photochop these for no reason, but i'll be doing same paint job when i find some other wheels.

ya bro i agree it agree...it looks tacky on wheel by itself, but after putting on a Red car...it looks quite nice. Only if i could fine the pictures and video of the M3 i saw this pattern on.

Since the seller of those wheels is asking some heavy $$$$...i can't get them, but i was thinking about getting the lip sprayed same as the car color. Aite let me find that video of M3 with the same paint job so y'all will know how it looks on a rolling car or red car.

after starting from scratch, I didn't know shit about where the car was or who it belonged to....i just saw a random video of it on some website a month ago. Well after an hour of searching...i finally located the car and the owner. This is what inspired me to do the paint job

Thanks for the input Jason :goodjob: and i know you are just looking out for a homie. I know i have seen some painted lip wheels and they didn't look that good, but it also depends on what color they are painted.....some colors look good on wheels and some don't. And also depends how it is done. I'll anodize the wheels before i paint and if i like the anodized look i'll keep it if not then next stage.
Painted yellow spokes (when thinking about it they may seem bad lookin, but done the right way they look good.....i guess same applies with the lip).

that video has a red S14 with the same paint combo.....finally something excatly i was looking for. So now you can all tell how it looks? It takes a few minutes for video to load up and the S14 come around 23 second mark.
