I guess but take a look at where the front bumper/hood meet up. Things are a bit misaligned and that could mean problems/frame damage/ or maybe nothing. Who knows.

Ive never seen so many cheap bastards in my life since being on this board. I have no clue what the book value is on a 91na but that would be your best starting point without mods.

The only way I could sell my car is if another enthusiast knew what they were buying. This is mike btw (the brotha with the stock looking 92turbo with 15's). I met you at a meet sometime last year.

not bad.....the price may be a little high but its not out of this world...the only reason it might be a little high is because its a swapped turbo and they tend to sell for less...but it doesnt really matter, unless it was a bad swap.

turbo's range from 4thousand-15000 depending on mileage and condition

Wait... so you're telling me that a non-turbo, stock car with 109K on it and a "jdm motor" is worth less than this ? No way.

Seriously guys... this is a 3-5K car...and yeah there's tons of lowballers on here, but belive it or not, there's a bunch of us that know enough about the market and cars to know that this is way overpriced.

mr2 shell in alright condition $1-2,000
full 3sgte turbo clip $1,500-2,500 varies on generation and mileage
Labor on the swap $1-2,000 depending on where you go or if your doing it yourself
Money spent replacing old worn out parts $500-1000

this is just a rough estimate......so come back by me and tell me this car isnt worth 3k.......lol

Ok,

I will.

When people use the two letters NA next to a motor description, that stands for Naturally Apsirated....which means NO FOCED INDUCTION.

This is a NON-turbo car, that is stock besides a set of old American racing rims.

So...I guess that's all you needed to be cleared up on. Not being a dick here, but compare apples to apples, not apples to turbo Mr2's.

lol damn my understanding was that it was a turbo...i only read "jdm"......and ppl usually never had "jdm" non turbo motors....theres no point

if thats the case then the $7000 pricing is pretty steep...my bad i read it wrong

Simply because one doesn't agree with another's price doesn't mean it's shit talking. I've owned two 93Ts, and as such, have got a pretty good understanding of the "MR2 market". A '91 NA isn't anything special, and nowhere near deserving of 7k. Personally (not market driven), I'd say that 7k (speaking of NAs) would be a stretch for even the rarest MR2s, the 94-95s, but then again, those have something going for them -- they're from the rare years. This 91 has got ZERO going for it from a rarity/MR2/turbo perspective.

You'd say wrong then. I've had five 94+ MR2s (still have three of them) and helped my ex-girlfriend buy a 95, not to mention several other friends I've helped find 94+ MR2s. You are doing pretty damn well if you get one for $7k if it's in good shape and less than 120k miles. It will happen sometimes when the seller doesn't know what they have, but those don't stay on the market for very long. I've seen a sub 10,000 mile NA bring $17k in 2005 and there is a 29,000 mile 94 NA for sale right now that I know will bring $11k. There's not a day that goes by that I don't look for new 94+ ads. I don't think your understanding of the MR2 market is as good as you think it is. Granted, I agree $7k for the one mentioned in this thread is too high, but the rest of the MR2 prices you have quoted are quite off the mark to say the least.

Again, I'll reiterate what I said about my personal beliefs about what MR2 values should be (esp NAs). I know that 94+ MR2s, even NAs, will be significantly higher than 91-93s, that doesn't change how I feel MR2 values should be. Perhaps you misread what I wrote? That considered, I don't see how a sub 10k/30k mile 94+ NA has any relevance to a 100k+ mile 91 NA car. Just because one can theoretically pull a higher number means jack because they're not the same car.

I checked on the MR2 board that's in your sig and found no prices of 100K mile plus NA's in line with his.

None. Period.

Its too much for a stock car...but don't take my word for it.. just see how much he has to lower the price to sell it....

There's a reason no one is comparing this one to the bad ass one that you built... you know? One is awesome and has real value, the other could be awesome with a lot of money, but shouldn't be priced as if it were awesome....

If you are truly interested in finding some MR2s, I can show you where to look, but I know that's not the case anyway, so why bother?

The fact remains that trying to sell something here in lowball central is a complete waste of time regardless of whether or not his price is "in-line", and most of you don't know dick about MR2s.

i don't want to be an asshole but toyota's from the 90's are high value cars. like supra's and mr2's. it's not about that car being worth 6 grand to you. it's about weather or not someone would pay 6 grand for that car, and yes they will. i own 2 cars and i'm 19. you have owned 34 cars. so you know how much mr2's are worth better then me? sure. anyways chris u gotta put this on autotrader though the only thing you can sell here is a civic.

Don't think that just because you know a little something about MR2 value that others dont. Did I quote some bullshit blue book or something? No, of course not. I totally understand the value of the cars and their inflated nature.

But search around on the boards and stuff... just because YOU think its worth 6 g's doesn't mean someone else will. If you look around on the auto trader you will see some with nice mods and some with none. Some with good prices, and some that are ridiculous.
