WTB: Cairn Terrier

so im looking to get one of these dogs.. anyone know of breeders or rescues? i have searched petfinder.com and found one from a private owner.. just waiting on a call back..

any help would be appreciated!!!

lol i already visited that site.. i think i have been to all.. most breeders want 500-800 bucks and i dont want to spend that much.. didnt know if anyone knew someone personally!

well im not so worried about it being full-bred.. all my pups have been mutts.. and they tend to have less health issues than purebreds...

i really love the look of the cairns.. scruffy and small is what im going for!!

oh, you can check with the humane society and they will normally have a list of local breeders.

My old boss bought a Hungarian Vizla from a breeder and when a local pound picked one up they called him out of the blue asking if he wanted it....he was like, uh...yeah sure? Apparently the pound went through the humane society and found a breeder then the breeder suggested my boss as a potential home for it, i was amazed they actually spent the time to do that.

awww ya that is great.. well i posted something up on petfinder.com which only allows breeds/rescues to see it.. i found one in NH for 300 dollas but im not sure how i feel about have a dog shipped.. lol

i found one for free in the paper.. fullbred/ fixed and all that good stuff.. im hoping the lady will call me back!!

.. i found one in NH for 300 dollas but im not sure how i feel about have a dog shipped.. lolship it! just make sure they poke holes in the box and don't put too many styrofoam peanuts in it :tongue:
