He took off on me at a green light, and I caught up to him and walked him by 115 or so?

Talked to him at the next red light, he "says" he has a Garrret chip, and Tektonitcs Tuning Exhaust?

Seems like it shoulda been faster IMO or maybe........:blah:

W/ an APR chip, he'd pulled you. Right Paul! (inside VW owners joke)
I raced only one Maxima in my APR 1.8T, and it was sprayin a 75 shot. I barely beat him (1.5 cars at 100 mph).
Not taking anything away, Good kill fo sho, but owning a GLI, I'd guess it was stock.

I raced a couple modded ones at commerce back at Tunerfest in '04 with my Maxima, and most of them didn't hold up. With Bijan's mods I don't find it unlikely at all that he took a chipped one, but that's just my opinion. Maxi-melts are quicker than most people give them credit for, especially when modified.
