re-installing windows ..

my friend lost her window cd and i was wondering if i was able to use mine and re-install windows on her computer ..

you can install xp like 3 times a year without any hassel..
and if it gives you a hassel you have to call microsoft and tell them that it keeps crashing on you thats y your reloading i think my copy of pro is on like 5 computers... lol

Do you still have the serial number? If you do you can use anyones disks, you just need the numbers.

I have a key to xp pro sp2 corp. my disk is jacked up. can i use any xp cd or i have to find one like it? if i can use any then we might be able to help eachother out here

^ no you need to have a corp disc to use a corp key... there is about 11 files that are different on the corp edition to make it install on any computer.
