I have a 96' dc2 which is obd2a, and was wondering which would be better? V-AFC (blue face) or V-AFC II (Black face), I have used a vtec controller on my DA a while back and it was pretty easy to work with, but that was obd1 (not sure if that makes a big difference).

it'll work just like it did for you on the obd1, however, i would recommend an obd2a-1 conversion harness an a programmable ecu.

I do not want to convert to obd-1, I want it to stay the way it is, but I guess I'll go with a vafc2.

Ver 2
detects knock
fuel adjustments in 50rpm increments as opposed to 100rpm increments on the ver 1
its cooler looking

why wouldn't you want to convert to obd1?

I prefer to keep it the way it is, I know its just a harness for conversion and plug and play but rather do something else such as a vafc. Plus I would have to end up spending more to buy the conversion harness which I believe is like $80 and then chipping the ecu.
