Mufflers

alright. I'm wanting to possibly change out my muffler ( dynomax ultraflow ) to something thats a little more throaty. Part of me has considered a flowmaster, but, well - I dont want to sound like a Camaro or a Mustang, or like I have a v8, you know?

So - that brings me here. What mufflers out there have a sort of throaty non-weed wacker sound? Post links to sound clips if you got them! :D

ha - I got a greddy evo for free. But I heard it on the car it was one. That thing was LOUD as fuck. So I gave it to my friend :D

I have the GReddy Evo II, it is the quietest aftermarket exaust sold for my car.

I think thats what it was. Something so big I could stick my entire arm into it.

my friend has greddy evo on his gsr, sounds lovely.

flowmaster makes a nice small muffler, and you don't sound like a camaro or mustang. It's hard to describe... sounds good, though. I've heard a flowmaster hooked to a b16... sounded awesome.

yea they have a sound clip on their website I think of the import one?

Only problem with me is that it isn't throaty enough.

I like how th 86 sounds, as well as the rx7 ( in one shot it drives over the camera and i swear to you it rumbled )

granted its all prolly added in there :(

Believe it or not I have a Imco performace muffler in the middle of a apex N1 exhaust and it sounds like no other Bi6 turbo I've ever heard. It a cross between a 350z and 350 SBC or Mustang. I love the sound.
