So does anyone on here know someone at a gun shop that if I buy a gun off the web, I can get it transferred to them and then go pick it up without being charged a bunch of money. Let me know.

OR

Does anyone know where I can pick up a 12gauge Mossberg with pistol grib? Preferablly chrome? Looking around 150-200?

yeah your right. I just looked around, but at the gun show last year I saw a chrome pistol grip, exactly what I was looking for and let it go, and it was $175. Right now they are running for $250 to $319 NIB.

Mossberg Mariner to be exact..but they are even a little higher in price.

I was gonna apply for my FFL and decided it wouldn't be worth it.

I know the owner of Bullseye in L'ville. I used to be a member there when I lived in L'ville. There's also the one about a block from here on Killian Hill. They have tons of them there too.

What is it about the Mariner that you like so much? The SS? I have 3 Mossberg 500A's. 2 with the pistol grips. They're fun to shoot until you slide a slug or some 00. Then it's really a handful. Still fun to shoot.

Gun shows are gonna be your best bet. $175 was a steal. Normally a decent used gripped Mossberg will run you about $250 at the show.

BTW, what you'll save via the internet, you'll end up paying back when you have to pay a gun shop to receive it. That's why I was gonna get my FFL, but I don't buy as many as I once used to so I decided not to do it.

Honestly I like the look it has. You want to sell me one of your Mossbergs? What size barrel do you have?

All are 18 1/2 in barrels. Mine are modded a little. I have the shroud on them and side saddle shell holder and one has a sling. I don't know that I'd want to part with them, but I'll think about it.

What we need to do is go to the range one day and let you try a few out.

ummmmm... I can 20.00 for transfer 25.00 if you don't have a GA firearm License. www.gunbroker.com is the best place to look. Located in Norcross, if you don't have a GFL you might have to wait depending on how busy the GBI is and your background.

One of the nicest staffs I have ever met at a gun shop in my entire life. Even handles the one idiot who is with the group of shooters nicely [there is always at least one].

Most of the places I've talked to said they would do it for $20 [+ BG check if needed].

Online source: http://www.gunsamerica.com

I still want a USP40 Compact.

^^^I can still run the check, Just remeber when buying a handgun from outa state it has to be shipped overnight (As per federal law) and only UPS and I belive FEDEX ship handguns. Longuns can take as long as you want but still have to be notified that it is a firearm.
