Ok, I have a 89 240SX Coupe. It has a stock KA24E in it.

The car when I got it felt wierd from starts. Like it felt like it wanted to die at low RPM's from a stop light or something. The other day in the rain pulling into my girlfriends driveway, which is uphill, it died. Would not start back.

I checked for spark, all good. So that led me to gas. I hit the pump a few times, it started but sounded really bad. Sounded like it was on 3 cylinders but I checked it and it was on all four. I swapped pumps with a new one. Same problem. Checked filter and all, solid pressure.

Yesterday it was running rough, so I revved it up high and kept it for a minute. It smoothened out. Then idled fine. Could it be a sensor? I unplugged the MAF sensor (big one on the intake right?) and it ran like crap. Anything it could be? It seems like the air/fuel ratio is messed up and it is not mixing right.

Any help greatly appreciated.
