Well since everyone it seems got hp laptops* which ones did you get and whats the specs on them?:rly: Mine is:
2ghz 64bit athlon 64
128mb Graphics Card
15.4 Inch Screen
512mb Memory (Soon to be 1-2gb :))
60gb Hard Drive
Its a Pavilion zv6000

I was selling those for about $650-$700 with 512 meg RAM and DVDRW/CDRW..

Similiar but I have a Compaq R3000

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
128 Nvidia GEForce card
15.4 inch widescreen
GB Ram
80GB Hard drive.

I really love it* and have had no problems with it. A lot of people say Compaq etc blow* but I really like mine

Yea it was a Christmas gift. I love it* its fast as all hell. Im ordering the remote for it later today. It does everything I need it to do* Dvd burning* S-Video out powerful graphics card. Its perfect for what I need it for.

Me and Leisa bought 2 new Dell laptops last week* I had a HP laptop for the past 2 years and have had nothing but issues* I find HP sucks ass.

Ouch. About that blanket statement about hp's. Wait until your Dell turns aobut 3 months old and watch how many problems you start getting. Theres a reason the saying is Dude dont get a dell!

i do want an apple though, for music.. they dont freeze.. i can hook it up to my mixer, and mix everything on the computer.. no cd's, no vinel.. alot easier..

windows with all the pussy ass norton and mcaffee, will never cease to amaze you

i disabled all that crap and i have no problems at all

just disconnect your internet when your not using it and use google toolbar for pop up blocker

Dell Makes some good PC's im either getting a Dell Laptop or a Desktop by the end of the year, prolly a base one and get some one on IA to upgrade.

I want an HP cause i can get more for the Money, but then i might as well go to microcenter, lol

i dont have any at present.. i cant remember what the old one was.. i rarly used it.. since i have a whole DJ system, set up for recording live music onto CD's without the computer..

i am soon getting new software that we can dj, only on the computer..

at my party, most of what is going to be used is gonna be from the laptop

All you need to mix is Cool Edit Pro and Acid Pro
