Someone stole Tuan's today car straight from the Pleasant Hill Best Buy sometime between late afternoon to 6:30PM.

1999 Honda Civic SI
Electron Blue Pearl
License plate: 3839 AJC

Car was stock with the exception of some springs and a red Honda emblem, two side banner "XLR8SHEN" decals are on the driver and passenger windows.

KEEP AN EYE OUT, IF YOU SEE THIS CAR PLEASE NOTIFY ANYONE FROM XLR8SHEN IMMEDIATELY.

my question is is how do they do it - I mean its safe to assume the car has an alarm right? That usually gets bystanders attention. So that means there HAS to be witnesses.

I know the camera's in Best Buy show a record of everyone using a credit/debit card - so maybe have the police run through those people in case any witnessed anything?

im sorry but the authrorties arent doing much ethier. this theft ring has been going on for about a good 2-3 years hondas being cars of choice, youd think the cops by now have made some arrest or progress but no, the thefts are still going strong.

I know how you must fell. Fulton county cops didn't want to help me either when my car got stolen. I had to file the claim through the resource officer at the school cause the Fulton County cop said he couldn't do anything.

Again i'll be on the lookout and hopefully everything will work out well with you!

^know how much they cost?A few hundred plus installation if you can't figure out 1 wire yourself...some have cell capabilites so if the alarm goes off then it will alert you through whatever number you tell it (just like a house alarm)...used to be a distributor for Direct Track GPS but think they went out of business. Most charge you per month by how many times you track it..say a $4.95 p/month service allows you 5 tracks and $9.95 may be 10, etc...some have unlimited and some companies have better mapping overlay capabilities than others...

Dude, trust me, Lances sucks, if there is anything of value on your car still, it wont be there siting in lances lot. I had a car towed there, and when i went to it, they didnt even check us, we jsut walked back there found the car, and the keys and everything where in the iginition. I can get in about any car with a clothes hanger and a couple make shift blocks to spread the door jamb a little bit (sometimes you'll have to pierce a hole through the rubber trim though) I have a slim jim set but still almost always have better luck snagging the lock with a hanger. No scratches on the door jamb either because i always stuff rags to protect the paint.
