and who wouldve thought a female was behind the wheel....

Two of the world's rarest exotic cars, the Lamborghini Murcielago, and the newly introduced Ferrari Enzo, crashed today in the Park Cities area while street racing. There were a total of 5 teens involved. The Lamborghini apparently was driven by minor Courtney Shannon, daughter of Danny Shannon the owner of a large exotic cars dealership. The Ferarri Enzo, the world's rarest car, was driven by Rebecca West who's father is a prominent attorney. Both girls are age 17. Three males, Andrew Lambert, Chase Shannon, and a third who's name has not yet been released, were passengers.

"Both females and two males are in stable condition, while the third male is in critical condition. All 5 were taken to Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. Rand Allemond says "I saw the yellow one coming down the street and make a sharp swerve-like maneuver and turn sideways while the other ran into it. Then they both slid into two other cars and that's when I ran inside to get my wife and call the police".

The Lamborghini is valued at $280,000, and the Ferarri is valued at more then $2,000,000.00."

I am assuming that in each car had a extra passenger, you know probably sitting in the lap or something...

Hate to bust your bubble but this is a false story. I do not know the story on the Lambo but the Ferrari was wrecked by a teenage male driver, I believe if you look on wreckedexotics you will find more pics of the Enzo.

With only 353 miles on the odometer, this Enzo sustained approximately $400,000 in damages. Rumor suggests that this car was being driven by the owner's son. The owner apparently owns a huge RV manufacturing company or dealership. This is actually the 2nd Enzo to be wrecked. A yellow Enzo holds the honors as the first wreck (we're trying to get pictures of that one!)

It's not a true story. That Enzo was wrecked a while back, it was the second one to ever be wrecked

Oh I agree but you have to look at it like this. They have the money to do the things we only wish we could do, that is why it pisses us off when we see things like this.

WOW if you look at those bolds it proves this story is fake. Since it says "newly introduced" how is something that is almost 4 years old newly introduced! Also when it says the daughter of a EXotic car dealership is another hole since Ferrari even said that the ONLY way tto get a Enzzo is to be offered one. You cant even pay for one is cash, you have to be someone of high standards and such and be recogized by Ferrari to even be offered the oppurtunity to buy one. Second the Enzo street value is only $700,000 not over 2 mill.

ALSO the worlds rarest exotic is this 2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Roadster
which values at a cool 1.5mill. BUT the rarest car is 1998 Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR in which only 25 where produced and each values at 1.6mill!

Trans, your wrong on the Value of the Enzo. It is actually closer to 1.5 mill if you find someone that will sell it, usually the price gets driven up over 2 mill easy

yeah and by 700k i mean that is the price you pay when Ferrari offers you one. But if it was a private sell then yeah it would sell for twice that amount since what you have to do to get one!

Well when they first came out that would have been correct but since they were a limitied production and have since stopped the price on them is through the roof. I wish I could own two ferrari's :(

They were produced only from 2003-2005 with a total number of 400 made. Production has ended.

Initially, Enzo production was to be limited to 349 examples. Citing pressure from customers, Ferrari bumped production to 399. The Pope's Enzo was an additional unit added to the end of production and upped the total to 400. You could not walk in to your local dealer and buy an Enzo. Prospective purchasers were interviewed and selected based on their importance to the dealer (we assume the Pope was pre-qualified). Customers were then contractually obligated to keep the car for a specified period or sell it back to the dealership where they bought it, a feeble attempt by Ferrari to stop rampant speculation. SCM's Gold auction database shows that very few have been brought to auction, with most selling above $1,000,000.
