Anyone ever had a car pu up in storage before? I found a super deal on a car, but i need a place to put it for a month or 2, until i get more space in the garage. I was gonna just buy it and pay to have it sit at one of the storage places. i see a few cars in there. anyone ever done it before? any recommendations?

My cougar went into storage last year, over the winter months. Just do a usual checklist.

- Change oil
- Check all fluids
-Remove battery
-Either place the car on some sort of support system, or every other week roll the car back and forth so it has no flat spots in the tire.

Thats all I can remember so early in the AM.

Its a non working car, i have the motor everythign for it at the house, but i was gonna build it before i brought the car home to put it in it. The motor works in it , but the tranny is shot, but all that will be gone anyway. Just wanted to knopw how much do they charge?

The net is your best weapon....try searching ask.com....they seem to be pretty accurate on finding exactly what you are looking for.

exactly what he is doing. i would make sure there is a live in person at the one you choose. that way no one gets in after hrs. just something to look for.

The cost solely depends on the location...i priced a sealed 10' x 30' [w/ power] in Atlanta for $300 a month.

I would try to rent a friends garage for $50, $100 a month. Make a post in the housing/apartment section. If people are looking for roomates to get some extra income, chances are they will rent you a space for X amount a month.
