ok, so i had a huge black dude in my passenger seat and 4 people in the back cuz i was givin them a quik ride home, then i drove over a little unlevel street and i hit the botton of my car, im not sure if that had anyting to do with this but thats what happened before i realized the problem. anywayz now when i drive it sounds like something is scraping the ground but when i checked it out everything looked normal, and when i use the brakes i get this wierd grinding/scraping sound. anyone have any idea what it might be before i go and get it checked out thnx

sounds like ur brake pads are worn out...they always grind when u press on the brakes...

why does it matter of the huge guy was black?
does him being black make the problem even more severe....
anyway, it sounds like you need to replace your brake pads, maybe its grinding your calipers

dont worry im not racist cuz im black myself, but you guys are right that doesnt really matter i jut wanted ya'll to visualize us hittin a bump with this huge black dude in the front, it was pretty fuuny. but wit that said thnx for the help, yea i think it is my brake pads but does it make that sound when you are driving and it sounds like something is scraping the ground even when ur not on the brakes, also how mch about does it cost to fix that up

Yeah and if it's been like that for a while your rotors might be shot also. That's o.k. though cuz now you can get CD or Slotted rotors and Endless pads. Do it

yup it was my brake pads, i got new pads and resurfaced my rotors, now i have no sounds
