Do you have the bloodlines for your dog? Papers? Does this dog have show potential or in some way exemplifies what the breed stands for? Will you get her hips/eyes/joints cert. checked by a vet for dysplasia, eye problems, etc? Do you plan on spending $$$$ on all the vet appointments for the puppies until you can find homes for them? Are you going to find GOOD homes for them, or just anyone who walks up with a fist full of cash in their hands?
If the answer is NO, please DON'T breed that dog! Get her fixed, keep her as a great dog and a family pet. There are too many unwanted pups in shelters because of irresponsible breeders.

Please relax breeder police, I have all the necessary papers her bloodline is Cordeiro, she is ADBA/UKC...I plan to breed her only once. I love animals and would only want good homes for the potential puppies, I am not out for the almighty $$...so please direct your puppymill anger elsewhere.

Just checking. :)
Most people who breed pits (not generalizing, just being honest) don't have the first clue what it takes to be a good breeder, which is why there are SO many pits who are abused or need homes. Sucks, cause they're a great breed for families when raised right.

saw a episode on animal planet last night with these pitbulls ..
10 out of 11 was put down made me so mad and angry ..
people like them should be caged and beat and fought like the dogs ..
for every dog he served a year so 10 years for abusing the dog ..
he deserved it bastard hope he gets ripped a new hole by a guy named pitbull in jail ..
I have 2 aussies as well that I have had for 6 years, I researched the APBT for several weeks before making a decision, I went to over dozen breeders and there are a broad range of them out there, there are some that are jaw dropping on how inhumane some people treat these animals..a friend of mine referred to them as back yard breeders...We went to one breeder that had over 30 pits chained up outside. I felt so bad for them...I actually purchased mine from a breeder that was local and this was the first litter. I am very pleased with her temperment, and her size....There is alot of bad press on these dogs....everytime I tell someone what she is...you should see the reaction. I am sure you know...I am going to start saying she's just an Amstaff so I don't have to hear the B/s about ohhhh how pits are so bad :blah: :blah: :blah:
5338-I feel ya homie...but it won't be me...I know its a huge commitment and I will evaluate it in 10 months to make sure it is the right thing to do.

That shit makes me sick. You can't have 30 kids chained outside, but it's okay to do with dogs, who are just as defenseless and dependant on us for survival???? Good for you about getting her from a breeder - and you see the difference? She looks like a good pup, she has a really sweet face. My friend Arsalan has a female pit too that he got from a reputable place, and Remy is just a big pudding. Never met her before but she was smart enough to judge that I wasn't a threat and proceeded to jump all over for kisses, the way a pit should act.
People who abuse animals should be shot. They're obviously worthless individuals and contribute nothing to society.

I totally agree...I thought about calling animal control on that place, but I know what happens when they go there, so at least at this place they were alive, I know thats not great, but its better than the alternative...Its basically damned if you do, damned if you don't....

Exactly. Which is why I'm pro-euthenasia. For the owners, not the pups. :lmfao:
Yup! This guy needed to be put under the jail...
