Thats just a summation of everything that has been said. Its an evil person that sees an animal in desparity and fear of it's life and chooses to maim it instead of feeding it and letting it go on its way. So now a hungry, cold and lost animal that was frightened by Leanne is now unable to find food or escape predators. Basically its as good as dead in the wild.
