I couldn't help but to remember how my car got broken into a couple of years ago. It was during the holiday season, so i'm continually reminded of it. So I'll just post this thread to keep you guys alert (most already are)

Seems like the season facilitates the temptation to GANK someone's shit.

Watch your purses extra hard.

Do not keep valuables within your vehicle 'in plain site'

Lock your Houses/Place of residence properly. Homeowners should at least try to use theft deterants (Motion lights, security signs etc.)

Scrutinize all ATM areas, especially at night.

Try not to keep alot of cash on you (if possible)

You should actually do this everyday but try to start now at least.

Well that was my attempt at something positive for the season. Feel free to make additions :)

Fastest Growing crime in the world.

Only 10% happens online while the other 90% occurs within the general public.

yea, when the cars at my house got broken into, the cop said to bring in your wallet/purse and every gift that you bought every nite, and dont leave anything valuable in your cars. most theifs look for suv's and such with the little cover over the back becuase thats how most adults keep presents hidden. he also said that after you open all your presents and such, either burn your boxes or break them down and actually break down the boxes and put them in the bottom of the trash can. he said that most criminals will just drive around the day after when everyone drings out there trash and they leave the big boxes of stuff that they got (et. xbox360, psp, stuff like that in boxes) and theyll find out what you have inside even before they break into your house. just be carefull this time of the year. and merry CHRISTMAS to everonye
