take more pictures from what you posted it looks like the front end needs to be refitted and a new tire put on, no big deal.
EDIT:after looking closer it appears you may need a new wheel and a squirt or paint.. again, no big deal.

The rim is bent/the edge is oober fucked... the front end is fine... the fender no longer has the metal attachment to bolt up to the front bumper (needing a new fender)....the side skirt is cracked where its "seam filled" (when replacing the fender....it would have to be re-molded/painted....).... thats still right around 500-1000+$ to repair...that I do not have at the moment... and considering the car is under liability.... yea...
I had a blow out in the left lane.... in turn, hitting the nice "large" reflectors....

I didnt create your situation so dont get pissed at me that you couldnt afford an extra 30-40 bucks a month or whatever it is for full coverage. It is murphys law if you have a decent car and drop it to liability it WILL get fucked up. I know of several people that have had cars and totaled them weeks after dropping full coverage just to save a few bucks... Insurance is there as a saftey net to cover against the unexpected.. I know it sucks that your car is messed up but it only seems like a wise idea to me to protect an investment as great as yours was.
PS hope you dont have contracts to complete with those sponserships.

wow....you are a brave person to let them pull it up the flat bed like that.....I know it's a "show" car, but wheres the original spare? I wouldve figured a way to somehow get the side up and at least put on the spare. Another question, what brand tires are you still running? how much tread is left? I'd email the manufacturer and show them and it's very possible the tire somehow failed.....hitting a reflector shouldnt have caused a tire to blow out....tires have to meet certain DOT standards, and I dont care if it's a 19 or 26in tire....35 series tires have to be able to hold up for the daily grind...

wow i would personally look for a different insurance company, then again the minimal "full coverage" has such a high deductable that it wouldnt even do you any good.. I thought you had a body shop sponser that could help you getting the car fixed.. say 1500 worst case, with your discount wouldnt be much.. then if you wanted to sell the car you could sell it for alot more. people dont often buy broken cars for a reasonable amount of money.

actually, with a clean record and depending on car, some insurance companies dont set that high of a standard for liabilty to full coverage....
but I am guessing it's because you've gotten a ticket or two.

I took the front end off before they put it on there, and they used boards to lift everything up.... the original spare is under my system enclosure.... heh.... kinda hard to get to with like 50+ screws holding in the subs. Im running Fuzion. The tread is prolly 50+% on the front, or the um RIGHT front only now.... and then like 40%+ on the rear.... I hit the reflector AFTER the tire had already blown. I was driving doing 75....cruise set, the car started to hobble-- steering wheel pulled hard to the left, i controled it...and pulled off... in turn running over it AFTER it had already blown. :(

so the tire blew out and then you hit the reflector, correct?
did you run over something beforehand that you know of? have you hit anything relatively hard with that particular wheel/tire? It's not very uncommon for 35 series to get impact bubbles, because the threads have broken....and it's always from the inside where you cant see them. Do you have the entire tire? like the sidewalls as well as the top tread? Like I said, I would throughly check that tire and make sure it wasnt somekind of defect, now if it's a slash or a nail sticking in the sidewall, well....that sucks....but I'd definately look it over....I use to deal with this stuff on a daily basis.

Agree 110%. If you have the money to drop into the car dont whine and say "I have no money for insurance". If thats the case get out of the hobby and buy a car you can afford to insure.

I find it funny you say this.... I havent modded my car in over a year- everything that has been put on the car this year has been free (sponsorships) or from insurance. (the deer shit) I have had a little bit of debt since the deer incident. I had full coverage on there for 2 months after the accident...put it on liability due to the fact I couldnt afford it anymore. And I didnt think shit would happen. If you can afford 360$ per month, by all means go ahead and pay it. But im not rich. I was helping my mom out with shit, had other bills....etc.etc. I just couldnt do it. And shit happens. After this one though its going back on full.... but through a diff. company. :goodjob:

im not gonna wish this on anyone , it sucks. sorry to see that happen to your car.
However , some points ill make:
1) FIX THE CAR, no matter what it costs, cause its worth $1.37 the way it sits now. you could put $1500 into it, and itll make the car worth $5000 more. its a opportunity cost worth taking.
2) Low on funds? there are TONS of ways to get money. SMall loan from a bank, put your car up as collateral, parents, family, credit cards, etc. $1500 is chump change, if you cant make it in less than 30 days, then something is wrong. My friend (who shall remain nameless) wrecked her car. her car had a $5000 front end on it. the next day she went an got a small personal loan from her bank/credit union, and fixed her car. She just recently paid the loan off (2 years later)
3) Take this criticism with a grain of salt. no ones PICKING on you, just pointing out things you may want to consider in the future. Full Coverage on that kind of car with that much shit done to it is worth it IMO. hell i BOUGHT my race car CRX for $200, but i have $10,000 invested in it. i have it insured right now for $6000. so at the end of the day if it burns to the ground , i get AT LEAST $6000. i pay $157 a month. liability was $55 a month, its worth it to spend the extra $102 a month. cause its about RISK. I choose not to take one.
Case in point, my friend had his EG hatrch stolen. he had 10K invested in it. he had liability only. guess what, he got a stripped bare shell back, and nothing to show for it. i almost cried when i saw his car, i couldnt imagine losing that much money, and that much hard work on something because i didnt spend $100-200 more a month.
PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT.
Good Luck

did you talk to your tire sponsor? about your tire giving up all of a sudden....there should be a way or maybe that you can make them to pay for the repairs coz the tire doesn't look like....it's bald or something. Remember the Firestone problem with Explorers. I think it's worth a shot.

along the lines with vteckidd, get Agreed Value insurance. yes u will pay more but i fu can show them receipts of your expenditures u will get the total of your receipts. Thats why i have kept every receipt for my 240. my motor is worth waaay more than the car but i get the full amount of what i spent if i total the car out.
I know a guy that had 20k invested in a Z32 and he received his full 20k because he kept records of what it was worth. jsut search and see which insurance companies offer the best agreed value insurance.

no offense to this girl but i find it funny that people dump thousands of dollars into a car and keep liability on it only... call it what you want but i think people are retarded for doing so.. why not save a bit of money that you are spending on all these mods and drop a tad bit more on insurance... and for the statement of i dont or didnt expect anything to happen...no shit huh.. think about it does anyone expect shit to happen... that is why insurance is there...
Exactly...
If you cant pay to play, stay on the bench watching.
But glad you got the ride back running.

Thanks for the input Julio. :)
And GSR....
I am driving it!! I dont have another car to drive, and I cant drive my moms due to her work schedual.... so I have no choice... Plus I cant buy another one so, thats outa the question. I am not putting it up for sale because I wrecked it...I think its honestly time *FOR ME* to grow up, and get outa this for a while- im sick of putting money into my car (with repairs and what not) And im sick of not doing anything for myself....everything ive really earned has gone into that damn car, insurance, gas, repairs..etc.etc. Im sure ill get back into it later when I have a better job and what not. Right now I need to have a stock car....something reliable....not low...etc.etc. I cant really be afraid to mess the car up again considering its a daily driver. I can just hope for the best. I think I am pretty sure of what I am getting next...I wont be posting it up though until my car is gone, and the new one is in my posession. :)

Sorry about your car (I been in your shoes before), but it's sad with people are blaming you for something that wasn't your fault. It shows you how many haters are in this world! :piss: HATERS

Very smart decision, and I commend you on it. If it wasnt for my daily , Id be in the same predicament as you. Winning 1st place at Nopi Nationals in my class was it for me. Im out of shows, and im more about enjoying my car and working on the daily in my spare time and when I have some extra side cash. It came to a point for me when there are more important things in this world then just throwing money at a car. Best of luck to ya.

Yeah, and maybe you should learn how to read. She had a tire blow out on the highway which in turn caused her to hit a road object. Ive hit a road gator one time which tore the shit out of my front easily, and it was nothing like her incident.

obviously you haven't read about her other "accidents" that werent her fault oo well suck it up shit happens get over it no one gives a damn about what you've done to your car now. hahah i love when people lie through their teeth just to get attention when everyone knows the truth.... and her having extra money to pay for anything...she calls ex-bf to pay for her shit when shes in trouble...too bad they don't fall for her shit everytime the phone rings.

Thanks X2. :goodjob: BTW, I *HEART* girls that come onto a CAR forum and dont talk about cars...but rather TRY to
attack/downgrade another female just to better their own appearence. :jerkit: When in reality (yes, come to our side)
they really, do not have a clue about the WHOLE picture. Typical female.
