my type-r motor i got finaly came today im going to put in a clean one owner 1988 honda civic std the motor is obd-2 wouls be hard to switch odb2 or stay 0bd-0

Easiest way to do it is this:

Find a OBD0 CIVIC SI harness. Your going to have to convert your STD to MPFI. Im pretty sure its the STD that has DPFI, the civics always confused me.

Convert to MPFI, Use the SI harness
Add VTEC
Buy the HASPORT Hydro Conversion Kit to run the ITR tranny
Convert to OBd1 with a Boomslang Harness
get a obd1 ecu

get a obd1 ecuyea this is my frist swap i wanted to get the best b-series motor i could get i bougth p72 it is obd-1 ecu i got the kit to run the hydro tranny just need to switch over to mpfi

thanks to those help me with info got it in and running she is true beast we took it to the shop and it will roll going to post pics of it friday and home moives if i know how
