I Have a craftsman mig welder. Its a gas/non gas welder. I'm looking to get a gas tank for x-mas. Where should i get one and what should i look for? And anyone know of a place to refill it around gainesville/oakwood?

that one is right on 129 across from the QT near 985. i generally use Holox off indian trail but Airgas is much closer i'm sure. gas welding > splattery flux core.

there is like one right next to my shop....i walk there all the time....they have all the welding equipment....mask, gloves, watever u need...also...all kind of gas.....they even have Nitrous....i was thinking of being a refill station but haven;t really decided yet....but they are call AirGas located in Hapeville on Old Dixie Hwy

Gloves are for pussies! lol j/k....that place is alittle far from me. But that place hipsi was talking about sounds pretty close.

They have them there. That is where I bought mine and where I buy my wire, gloves, cutting discs, grinding wheels, and mask. They are good people. They sell you the tanks and when you go empty all you do is swap out for another tank instead of waiting for a refill.

i use airgas
flux is convenient, but it looks like shit.
you go to lanier tech right? talk to bud hughes, he may be able to help you out with that.

i got my hands BBQ a few times ....so gloves are a must from now on....lol
