Sold my jeep and im in the market for a replacement weekend cruiser. Heres a list of what im considering.

"Executive car" is300, bmw 330, audi s4 - wheels, stereo, put gas in it. Drive it.

60s-70s "shop truck" - level it, lower it. Big wheels, done.

2jz foxbody - get a 4 banger coupe and do a 2jz/th400 swap.

Ls1 rx8 - theres a graveyard full of rx8s that have rotary engine cancer, rescue one and put a bowtie in it.

Thats where my mind is at right now.

Those are some really different options so know what you are your priorities? If you want to be able to haul shit, definitely the truck. If you just want to go fast, obviously the 2j or LS. Or are you just asking which is the coolest? If so, my vote would be shop truck.

No priorities. I drive a silverado on the daily.

After spending every free hour ive had on the road lookin at old 60s trucks and finding nothin but rust buckets i decided on a mixed bag. I got a s10 to do a sport truck. Got a black extra cab, gonna get it low, tub it and put a sbc in it.

Still lookin for the right old truck. But s10 for now

An S10 would make you a joke to any true low-rider. Anything that you can bag with an off-the-shelf kit and lay frame is dumb.

Not sayin' that it's my opinion. Easy is definitely in my vocabulary these days.

You need a 58-64 Impala with a twin turbo LQ4/9, on switches.
Well, at least that is what I need.....
I'm halfway there, need to do engine swap though....

What are you talking about? In 1963, the Bel Air and Impala had the same body.
