Not really car pics but relevant since everthing has been about him the last month – though I’d share pics of site. See below.

Also, wanted to say what a great turn out for the Walker memorial drive in Atl. A little hectic but nonetheless a good turn out. Great to see people unite for a great man in his own right. Not only was he part of a great movie franchise but his behind the scenes actions was immense as well. Such as starting his own charity, helping those in need and to me – the best gift to anyone. Purchasing anonmously a wedding ring for a couple about 10 yrs ago. And since most people don’t know who I am – heres just one of mine and hoping people will continue to help people less fortunate no matter where you are in life. It was a Las Vegas style bachelor party I planned – complete with billard, poker game with poker dealer, vegas show girls, exotic dancers, and plenty of food and alcohol. Cost… if u have to ask it’s too much lol. Long story short – split 4 ways. After talking to my friend on the phone, covered his portion. Told him not to tell any of the other friends and I covered for him when asked about it. To this day no one knows I covered. Sometimes you just know when it’s the right thing to do when they present themself.
Stay true, be frugal, and be kind and help others…….

Actually got to see Paul Walker a couple months ago, and so I decided to leave a piece of Atlanta while visiting LA on business – a silver MKIV. The crash site on 12-13–

Why are these guys heroes for driving around at 100+ MPH with zero regard for public safety.

OMG, they lost control of a street legal racecar...no fucking way...

If you are gonna drive around like assholes, do it where it's legal and there are safety regulations..not where there are 7" curbs and trees.

No trying to be mean in this post but if u notice why aren't the trees in the pictures burnt if the car caught on fire and why aren't there any marks on the curb where the car hit.

Looking at the location, it was a business park with wide lanes or multi lanes. I think they chose the best place to test the limits of the car and just see what it could do. The street it happened on is a slight uphill with a slight sweeping curve to it. The first time I drove through looking for the memorial and realized the scenario, I immediately knew that if they were traveling at a high rate of speed the vehicle would lose control. But b/c the road is so wide there is good margin for error so that’s prob why they chose it. Plus it’s a business park and close to the shop.

I think they chose best area they could find on a public street to the push car. They totally went overboard for sure. I don’t have a problem pushing the car a little but as hard as they were doing it that is just too risky. 100+ mph is way too fast for that car on street tires in that turn. Even I know better than that and I goof around some. I mean look at Gumball 3000, the ghost rider, and local street racing. All forms of high disregard for public safety. The best thing to do is do it when no one is around and no traffic. Which they tried to do. Not saying it was the best judgment but certainly I don’t think they were looking to put the public in harms way otherwise they could have chosen a much busier street.

As far as why are they heroes? I think many people considered him someone they could look upto growing up and could relate too. They see it as this cool laid back guy doing Fast and Furious films. The fact that this guy did meaningful charity work, and gave back to the community and was humble from what I see is commendable. Certainly, I didn’t know about his involvement until I read about it. So when, you combine all of that I see why people came together and want too remember him - the multiple city cruises throughout the world, the tribute video with over 35 mil views, co-actors coming to the scene, the multiple IA events. He clearly touched many lives in the auto enthusiast world and reg fans. With anyone passing away - you try to remember someone for the good things in their life and overlook the bad no matter how terrible it might be.

there's no such thing as test the limits of a car on a public road. That's how you end up in a tree or even worst into another car.

Unless you close the road or are just ballsy enough to use both lanes you can't test any type of limit :/

Happens more often than you think. You'd be surprised what happens behind closed doors and no one really talks about. If you recall a few yrs ago there was a abflub supra that was totaled in Hiawasee, GA. The person posted his parts on IA and craigslist i believe. The owner claimed, his uncle totaled the car somehow. I actually, traveled to Hiawasee, GA and got a few parts off the car. Lucky for me, I talked to the people who knew the owner of the car and told me what actually happened. Owner totaled it, pushing the car. The place i was at was a personal garage / shop - who helped with the abflub build. Def some nice parts and cars in there - think GTR, etc. What they didn't know was the owner had posted online the part out and explanation, and so i genuinely, believed what they were telling me.

And another. This was recent pushing the car way too hard -
