first speeding ticket

last night me and buellx1 were tuning my car, adjusting the boost and what not(put a new turbo and some supporting mods on earlier this week), and not paying attention to speed whatsoever i got pulled over :( it was about 10 at night on some backroads, so there was no way to tell it was a cop(county sheriffs here have dark dark blue cars).

anyways he said he clocked me at 75 in a 55, gave me a ticket for 69 in a 55. my first time getting pulled over and i got a ticket :( cop didnt even pity when we told him we were trying to work on my car.

They might not even report it to the DMV and if that happens, it won't affect your insurance. 14 over is the limit for not getting points. 15-18 over gets you 2 points I do believe. You should be happy that he reduced it for you.

Speeding:
15 mph but less than 19 mph - 2 points
19 mph but less than 24 mph - 3 points
24 mph but less than 34 mph - 4 points
34 mph or more - 6 points

You were also doing 20mph over the limit. For him to give you 14 over was pity. With you being under 18, consider this your lucky day as 4 points is big for you...

Yeah dead on i got screwed with that acculmated thing, but i got it overturned...that was my lucky day, only lost my license for 3 weeks. But dam 17 drving a boosted car...

Also you should be happy he dropped the speed, my first ticket i gota logn ways back, the cop sat there and chewed me out saying i was pacing another car, and had no problem writing 21 over on my ticket.

car sounded great...pretty low and deep....probaly souds different if your on the throttle...i was too busy staring at the car while it was rolling.....black on black is the shiznit
