im so hurt.
Just be more reasonable, thats all
Well be reasonable and don't post crap that's not needed. I set the price I wanted to set and thats that. You didn't include the multiple ebay listings that have sold for over my asking price. You just posted the cheapest craigslist ones you can find and there is plenty of craigslist adds asking more than I am.

We live in America that's what we do on a daily basis. I stood in line for 5 hours so I can view it as compensation for my time just like when I clock in and out for work everyday. Also it would only be extortion if I was forcing people to buy it but i'm not.

I am selling one ps4 and two xbox ones as the title states. All are unopened and ready to sell. The price is $675 for the PS4 and $775 for the xbox one. Yes the price is more than retail if you don't like it go find one in a store. These things will continue to rise in price as Christmas approaches. If you don't want it then don't comment. Capitalism at it's best right here....
I have no problem you making as much profit as you can as long as market can bear your asking price.
What gets me is guys selling reg honda OEM parts for a premium / market price. Some people need to get real and let that stuff go reasonably priced and not treat that stuff like gold. Real "gold" is your portfolio, not common parts. Wheel and deal, drop price, etc. Otherwise keep your common part like a brick. Now desirable / rare, thats a whole different ball park.
Some people could learn from this, lol. Your stuff is not that valuable.

Except that the market won't bear it. It's an incredibly short term and localized supply shock. This is called profiteering. Retailers inventory is already starting to increase, so if he doesn't sell it today, he's about to get stuck with three next gens he's not even gonna get retail for.

Went into Best Buy here in Hiram this morning at about 8. They still had these on the shelf. Said they were putting out a few every hour.

They have very limited inventory and it goes as soon as it is out on the shelf. Also I wouldn't be stuck because I would actually like to keep the PS4 and one of the Xbox Ones. I can always dump the left over one worse case. I'm really not in a rush or desperate.

What may seem silly is another's man path to frugalness and financial security. Doesn't matter if you make 7.25 an hour or six figures. I've seen and watched blue collar people buy million dollar shopping centers working 12 hour days and corporate executives build / live in mansions on northside drive.
Remember, you never size up a person by it's cover. For the common man, frugality is a great way to wealth, no matter how you slice it. Just one of my friends, has over 500k saved up, a high paying job, a 100k car, and reg home in his mid 30s and is frugal and splurges whenever he feels obliged too. Another, lady at my work drives a old beat up truck, and has 3 retirement accts and earns reg income. Financial freedom and the ability to do whatever stress free is the best feeling.....
OP, buying and reselling his products is a great idea, just like Clark Howard buying his first rental property back in the 70s / 80s and still has to this day. I travel in my hybrid to snap a good deals and make profits for my international traveling.
A Washington state man has left a fortune worth $187.6 million to charity, after spending his life keeping his wealth a secret by coupon clipping and riding the bus.
"I mean he loved a good deal, he clipped coupons and his shirt was maybe just a little tattered," said Picha. "He was proper and old school, but very shy."
Apparently MacDonald would often visit multiple grocery stores to take advantage of deals and one time bought so many cans of frozen orange juice on sale, he needed to find an additional stand-alone freezer to fit them all.

How is spending 5 hours in line proves that you are being frugal. If he is frugal, he will be happy with the xbox360 and ps2. I don't get corellation?
And you are referring to bussiness owner. If you own a restaurant, you very damn well be spending most of your time there. There is no easy way out to be reach. People has to work hard to provide for his family.

It's called seeing if I can flip them for a decent profit smart ass. I planned on possibly keeping the last one I had left to enjoy for myself but if I had the right offer I would sell them all. I'm not some desperate 18 year old trying to unload my rotas so I can pay my bills. I pay my mortgage and all other bills with or without selling the systems point blank.

Frugal in a sense that he wants to own a system but not pay full price for it. By reselling he ends up paying less by selling one or two systems overall. If he gets stucks with all 3 then the plan didn't work. (but he did sell) I have done the same thing. I like something high end but don't like the price of new or even used. Trust me, when i say i have been down the path of reselling stuff over and over just so you can end up paying less for an item i want. it's hard to explain it b/c you think its buying and reselling, but it actuality it's not the whole picture of what I'm doing. Once i end up with the item i want, i move on to something else.
On the business owner, yea their frugal as well. Pay cash for cars to avoid financing. Haggle on pricing on some stuff. Seek out deals for home renovations, etc. I did the same thing this past weekend. Clothing store was 40% off everything. The double stack another 25%off if you total was above $200 after the 40% discount. Double stacking at its best. But then again you can go to goodwill and go used. Either method is frugal. Now Clark howard, ask him about his thermostat really low in his household during the winter. They essentially, bundle up in layers while at home. I'm talking layers of clothing at home.
Frugality, i have buying power and can travel b/c of it..... a means to an end.

I think your missing the big picture. See frugality is blind - rich or poor. I have wealthy and poor friends who are frugal. OP is trying to turn a profit while the items is still hot and he did resell. You see an angle and try to hit that angle of paying less overall. Could be less overall price of them item or cost of ownership. The overall value your getting for the item. Frugal does take some effort but its worth it if your getting something you want at a good overall value. And sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
For alot people, screw that. They get a second job or buy used super cheap. I mean whatever works. But practice frugal, you'd be surprised the buying power overall.

So launch day me and my buddy walk into gamestop around 9pm to troll the workers. There's no people at the counter, but a line outside the store. "Herp derp do yall have any xbox ones?" "no but we do have a few ps4s left" WHAT!!! So we race home, grab some cash, and I end up buying the last one. Midnight rolls around, I stand in line for 5 minnutes, get my ps4, and sell it the next morning for $550 to some dude from Alabama. My buddy was holding out till Christmas to sell it for close to $1k. He ended up opening it. The controller feels 100x better than the ps3
