I know it's been a minute since I've been on here...actually, it's been a minute since I've really been on the interwebs at all. After making a nearly 2-week drive with almost 6,000 miles covered, I made my way to the PNW last August. So far it has been pretty damn nice here. Jumping into school, then work, has definitely kept me tied up lately though....but both are going well. The car "scene" is similar yet different- the Saturday morning meets are small and quiet...how C&O used to be many years ago, and I like it. Good quality with none of the bullshit that C&O has become. The "import" meet, on the other hand, is good for a few laughs. There is a fair degree of "wtf?" here...like anywhere. I was surprised to see a pic from the Riverside meet on the local import meet page though.
Anyway, thought I'd drop by and say hello while taking a break from doing a few things online....

I turn 40 a hour from now. Getting too old for the scene, so it's officially dead now. You got out while the getting was good.

How can you bitch about traffic when this is your view? Driving is SOOOO much less stressful here. Yes, people are slow...but I don't fear someone trying to kill me everyday.

Glad you're enjoying it out there man. Not my cup of tea as I hate nature, but as long as you like it that's what counts. How's the domestic scene look out there?

I'm here perminantly lol...had to get out of Atlanta.
Skorcher- the scenery is just all over the place, because Portland isn't huge or suffering from massive urban sprawl...which is great. So the views/roads arent lined with a million Big Box stores every 1/2 mile. You can "get out" of the city with a 10 minute drive.
Ren- where to? It is damn cold up there, and from the traveling I've done, the roads are crap too lol.
Shooter- You're not the only one who has asked me lol. Im guessing there is a "demand" for such plates since GA wont issue them anymore? I have to say, though, mine is a trophy...keepsake...with sentimental value...so it'll be hanging on the garage wall for years to come. I have been told I can sell the rights to it...but I don't know the details since re-printing a vanity plate is a no-no...would be a duplicate plate.
Pic!!
