The part of this article that sticks out to me the most

"The most violent protest happened after the 2011 Quran burning as hundreds of protesters stormed a United Nations compound in Mazar-i-Sharif in northern Afghanistan, killing seven foreigners, including four Nepalese guards.
Jones has repeatedly ignored pleas from the U.S. military asking him not to stage his protests. Military officials say his actions put American and Western troops in Afghanistan and elsewhere in danger."

The answer to being attacked for your freedom of speech is not to give up your freedom of speech. Since when did the US negotiate with terrorists?

We don't negotiate with terrorists, we just like to stop those white trash dirt bags that make the whole country look like a bunch of fools such as this dead beat.

The article says the military is asking him to stop because Muslims who are offended are killing people in protest. Your response to this is that the peaceful protester is a dirt bag. Your outrage should be with the group of people who think they can respond violently to free speech. Also, for someone hyper sensitive about racism, how can you justify your racist comment?

It's not peaceful to attack someones beliefs.

The extremists attacking people because they're upset is just as pathetic. Sort of animal like, really.

I didn't make a racist statement, the due is a white trash dirt bag. That's a fact and it's not racist.

white trash is a racist term. You applying it to a circumstance that has absolutely no relation to a person's ethnicity confirms even more that it is a racist comment.

I do agree, they are like animals.

"White trash" is typically considered derogatory and a slur, and is used in place of "cracker" quite a bit. You just don't happen to hear as much about it, as many of its targets are less sensitive to racial terms than other groups.
