does any one know whats the max hp you can make on 2.25 intercooler piping. I want to know can 600hp be done and safe thanks.

yes street car and some track use its a built lsv stock gsr cam and running a 6262 .82a/r t3 I have a 70mm tb and my question is not base on my setup I want to know will 2.25 intercooler piping support 600hp. I want to know whats the max hp you can get out of 2.25

Can you make it, Yes. However I believe the outlet of the compressor is a 2.5'' on a 62mm precision. Ive seen 2'' make 500+ on the dyno, only because thats all that could fit in the area.

ok so you have seen this happen so that's good to know but are you saying that since the compressor is 2.5 then that means I should run 2.5 piping? and running the 2.25'' will it hurt anything or its just more of cutting my hp down.

Why are you wanting to run 2.25? Is that just what you have and don't want to pay to upgrade? I personally wouldnt run smaller than the compressor outlet, if I have a choice.

I bought the intercooler piping kit its a bolt on it said 2.5 but when it came its 2.25 and my turbo is 2'' outlet I think cause its smaller then the piping Im just trying to find out if 2.25 can support up to 600hp. I have the room for 2.5 piping and if the piping is not going to get the job done I will just get 2.5 and thanks for all the info.
