You seem to have missed the part where it is very likely that the Miata you were talking about belongs to the person that posted the photos. So, in a nutshell, you told the guy his car looks horrible. That's rude and unfriendly and we don't tolerate it around here.

Yeah, Miata.net is the forum that anyone with any kind of performance goals looks at and goes "yeeeaaahhh....those weirdos".
