F**king Tolls

My baby had a check up on her heart at Scottish Rite in Atlanta the past two days. So i have a sister in Newnan that we just stayed with till sunday. I have never been on the part of 400 near the hospital before and ran into the Pay Tolls.
well me nore the wife knew about this crap and Never carry Change or cash at all.
The kid running the toll was a dick and gave us BS before letting us off. He did say if it happen again our tag is on video and will be fined $25 for not paying .50 cent.
what a buch of bullshit why are there tolls and wtf are taxes paying for if there is a toll for roads i help maintain :thinking:

400 was funded by bonds, the toll is used to pay that down and fund other bonded projects. 400 has been around longer than you've been driving. Lol.

Well state taxes and property taxes bla bla bla should have its toll pay from me indefinitely taxes get paid in federal and stats ever year.
I M sure they get more than enough also so why keep using them ?

I guess no one really follows local news? Tolls will be shut down in December for 400, but I believe 75 is going to be getting "side tolls".....

They voted to extend them some years back. It's not necessarily a bad thing. It pays for other projects and it keeps traffic relatively light around that area.

Also, the charge for going through it without paying is $25.50 last time I checked. They get that .50 one way or another.

And yes I75 is getting a toll lane much like Gwinnett already has.

The on ramp that I took from the hospital is like 100 yards from the toll around a bend.only change at this point you see toll ahead is when you almost at the tollit self so screwed at that point :(
