Southside sonic meets are back!

weather is starting to get warm up now. we got a some people meeting back up at the sonic off 155 exit 216. its the same exit as summit racing. its every tuesday and starts at 7:30 and ends whenever you leave. be great to meet some you southside people. we never have any trouble when we meet up there. last time the manager started passing out coupons to everybody.


as always...please no burn outs. no reving as it bounces off everything and is very loud. no speeding through parking lot. if you wish to take off when you leave on the road thats up to you. and you assume all risk of getting pulled over. see you guys there. you can post in here and let us know whos coming to as well. we can keep it active.

So last week we had about 15-20 cars show last week. Lets get some more out there today

Much better turn out! About 30 cars showed up. We pretty much dominated one side lol

okay. let me say this one more time.

Please no burn outs. that even means chirping your wheels. if you noticed this is a mature meet as we all have grown up throught the years. that also means no reving. if you want to show off your 2 step please drive somewhere esle and bring whoever wants to hear it. its echos and bounces off the walls of sonic and is very loud and annoying no matter how good your car sounds. please keep entering and exiting parking lot at a 15mph speed to avoid being that guy and causing a wreck. it is sonic where cars enter and leave all the time. the manager at sonic came out to check on everybody to make sure we were okay and had every thing we needed. hes cool with us being there. remember is only takes one person to be a idiot to ruin it for everybody. we also need to keep in mind that we are not the only people there and there are other customers so keep them in mind as well. parking doesnt seem to be issue at this time but try to keep it on the side that were on so that were on.

if you want to jump on your car and show off a little thats fine. but please do so when your on the main road. DO NOT DO IT IN THE PARKING LOT! please assume all risk when doing so. there is a jail not even 1 mile away. so if you get pulled over and go to jail....atleast you dont have a very long car ride there lol. i think i go most of everything covered.

oh and please take care of the staff. no need to get rude or nasty with them. tiping is not necessary but encouraged. a lady friend that works there says they dont make mim wage. they are paid like servers. even 1 dollar goes a long way if you got 20 ppl that order food. which most of us do eat.[/B]

I've been there and done that, just want to hand out with responsible people and talk cars and enjoy good company. My wife and I are true automotive enthusiasts and would like to meet others with the same interests regardless of age, political background or particular brand loyalty. Maybe one day we will swing by and check things out. Either way, wish you guys the best in your meets.
