Finally got to ride this thing a little today...... it's a pretty sexy time. I feel like the 954 ushered in the end of the "superbike" era.... the era of big fat bikes with metal gas tanks. I might have to hold on to this one for a bit. I'm not in love with the silver and black, but oh well.... maybe it will grow on me.

This bike is nearly bone stock, only has 12k miles. A 50+ year old man had it and said he could no longer ride any more so he was selling off his collection.

Only plans for it at the moment are to modify the exhaust, airbox mod and throw a power commander on it. Bone stock these things top out @ 181mph, not bad for an ole honda.


Now that i have a jap bike worthy of putting some money into, this may be what the future holds. I always felt the 954 wore the repsol colors well.

I would have liked to have an RC51 too..... i sat out seeking either an RC51 or 954. I guess the MPG is the price you pay for having torque..... its nice to no longer have any resemblance what so ever of hesitation.

I was still shocked the first time my gas light came on..... the next morning.

I tried........ i went and looked at a dozen foxbodies and couldnt come to an agreement on any of them. Next thing you know this import showed up in a short skirt and one thing led to another.
