Ford 6.9 Diesel

Never owned a diesel... ive driven tons of them, but they were work vehicles so i had no concern regarding their maintenance since it wasnt my problem. In my experience with said work vehicles....... all the ford ones stayed in the shop constantly.


Anyone have any revelations to offer about the older 6.9l nonturbo diesel?

6.9 you must be speaking of older ford trucks 85-94 etc...Those 6.9 Turbo are really just for heavy hauling not anything else. I wouldnt use for 4x4 or power to the pavement. Just pulling heavy trailers,farm equipment or work loads.
