I think they top out at 40-45. They're nice if you live inside a city like Atlanta or something, but I wouldn't travel across any major roads or highways with one. You can beef em up, but yeah it's kind of a death wish. It's still a scooter. And I dunno about gixxer fast. Lol

If you are talking about riding a GSXR at 40mph then yes it's as fast.
