it probally wasnt the amount it was the type, those cars tend to backfire through the intake when you try and push a wet shot through the intake.

actually it's really common among the 99-2001 Cobra owners to blow their shit up when spraying.....I've seen it happen at the track and on the street....another common problem with the 99-01's is their 7th cylinder leans out and they throw a rod.....
