This is my 1993 Nissan 240SX (http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&catId=250887592473&item=:) Convertible. It's black with the original automatic transmission and KA24DE. It is completely stock! The only after market parts on the car that I replaced are Megan front control arms, Isis rear toe arms, and S14 Kouki front seats. I bought this car in February of 2012 and had intentions of making it a pretty awesome car but never got very far. The exterior is probably a 5/10 and the interior is a 8/10. It has been my daily since I fixed it, but I was finally able to buy a new car 2 days ago and am no longer in need of this car.

Here's some info (mainly bad):
-I did buy it wrecked in the front end but the previous owner didn't turn it in to insurance so it DOES NOT have a salvage title! It just damaged body parts and did not effect the motor or cars performance. I replaced the hood, front left fender (http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=left+fender), front core support, radiator, and bumper with a Type X front bumper (http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=front%20bumper) (180sx). I also bought the type x front fender (http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=front+fender) valences, bumper lights, and 1 turn signal (http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=turn%20signal) (left, only one available) so the other side will still need to be purchased. They go for like $40 on ebay. The bumper lights are mounted but not hooked up. The valences and turn signal have never been mounted and are still in the original box, which will be included with the car (I guess that should be in the good section but whatever). The front left fender I put on was from another busted 240 so it will still need another left fender and will need to be lined up correctly.

-It still has the original automatic transmission which is going out. It works fine, just whenever you go from first to second, it likes to kick.

-The motor runs strong but some things need to be replaced. The timing chain (http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=timing%20chain) has began to hit the valve cover (http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=valve+cover) slightly at an idle, and knowing the typical KA24DE it just needs new timing chain tensioners (http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=timing%20chain%20tensioners) or they just need to be tightened. The front main seal was leaking pretty badly when I bought it but I replaced that, but the oil pain gasket still leaks slightly and needs to be replaced.

-The A/C is also fully charged and worked great until the belt snapped in the fall. Since it was beginning to get cold I never bought a belt to put on.

-Shortly after I got it, I pushed the tripometer to redial it, and ever since then the odometer has quit working. For two seconds they will turn on while I am driving so I know it's just the sensor, I just never cared to replace it. With that, the RPM gauge will work or turn off depending on hitting bumps. Again, I know it's a sensor just never replaced it.

-The starter, I believe, is going out. Sometimes it takes a few turns for it to engage or sometimes it starts first turn.

-The odometer reads 177,XXX but it probably has no more than 178,XXX. I have never driven it on the interstate, none the less taken it out of the county so I haven't been able to drive it far. It was driven to college from my apartment (2 miles away) and back 2 times a week. I honestly don't think I have even put 3,000 miles on it.

-The stock exhaust is still mounted but needs to be replaced. Both rings around the tips are missing and show rusty, ugly tips. A part of the honeycomb in the cat has come out so when it sits at idle, it likes to do an annoying rattle.

-The front right brake clicks when you half way engage the brakes. I have brought it to the brake place twice to see what it could be but they couldn't find a solution. I would assume a shim but I don't know.

-Being a convertible, it leaks sometimes around the door seals. It tends to only drip when you are driving. If it's parked, it won't typically leak. The convertible top and window DO NOT leak at all! They are actually in pretty excellent condition.

-There is a rust spot on the top above the windshield which will leak inside on a rare occasion. Mainly if there is a downpour for more than an hour, and I mean it has to be heavy rain (http://www.amazon.com/Heavy-Rain-Greatest-Hits-Playstation-3/dp/B002CZ38KA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1351192890&sr=8-2&keywords=heavy+rain).

-The car's body damage looks as though it has been through WWII. It's better than most cars and is bondo free but I mean it has it's share of dents and nice scratches. With that, the paint is fading but the clear coat isn't peeling or anything.

-YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN WHEELS! I have the original SE wheels (all 4) which are in GREAT condition, they just don't have tires. They will be included with the car though. The current wheels the car is sitting on currently shown in first pic) will be going on my side project and are NOT included.

But hey, here are some good things!!!:
-CRACKLESS DASH! I used to own another 240 prior to this one which had a horrible cracked dash so I knew I needed to baby this one. The dash is literally in PERFECT condition!

-180SX front bumper (http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=front%20bumper) and body panels which were stated before, all in brand new/near perfect condition. Bumper is unpainted.

-Title is NOT salvaged, as said before.

-Since I have owned it, I have NEVER even taken it on the interstate as stated before. It hasn't even seen 80MPH, none the less do I think it could reach that with how bad the transmission's torque is.

-Over drive WORKS and can be turned on/off!

-It includes cruise but never tried to use it.

-Completely stock!

-About 3 weeks ago, I spent $500+ on an alignment, 4 new tires (NOT INCLUDED), rear brake pads (http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=rear+brake+pads), and right tie rod. I can show you the receipt for it. I only did this because I had no idea I had a new job coming for me and with that job, better pay so I bought a new Civic.

-I'm apparently only the 3rd owner. I never ran the VIN but the story goes that the first and second owner were both GA Tech students. While the second owner (the guy I bought it from) was at GA Tech, the top was slashed on campus but he got it re-sealed and I have had no problems out of it at all!

That is all the information I can think to add. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me. The price is FIRM and NO TRADES! The Borbert Type A's pictured in the first photo ARE NOT INCLUDED!!! This is a running and driving car!!! After cosmetic work and the little fixes, it will be a fantastic car. I really enjoyed this car and will be sad to see it go but I am tired of the car scene and putting money into a car I don't need anymore.

I don't check the forums/PM's often so PLEASE EMAIL ME AT [email protected]!!!!!

My name is Michelle!
