Here's the deal: If we suck this month, go somewhere else. If we're good, stay with us.

The irony of all this is that mine was ending this month anyways, and service has went to shit. I drop so many calls it's not funny. Considering ATT or Sprint, but will give it one more shot with a better phone- maybe it's my phone

T-Mobile drops contract plans, ends phone subsidies - latimes.com (http://www.latimes.com/business/technology/la-fi-tn-tmobile-ends-phone-subsidies-20130325,0,6707508.story)

Good news for all of you who signed a contract on teh galaxy S3 earlier this year when they were on sale. I'm an idiot for not doing that.

I'm going to go on a limb and say using $800 worth of data is 100% the user, not Verizon. lol

Pay up!

Pretty sure it only applies to new customers

Verizon charges way to much for their services. It's not called being poor if your wallet is being humped by a tiny verizon midget when you're not looking.

I have better things to do with my money. Like burn it, wipe my ass with it, etc. etc.

Verizon isn't even that expensive, at least not for me. I only have like 2GB of data maybe 1GB, I primarily use my computer and phone for random stuff on the go so don't rack it up, two smart phones on the account, unlimited text, etc. It's like $150 a month and I never have an issue finding service or losing calls.

170 a month for Verizon with 2 smart phones, 1 with 2GB and the other with unlimited data. Verizon isnt the cheapest and I will never claim it to be, but I have service where NO ONE else does.

Verizon is expensive, but you get what you pay for.

The only other I'd consider is AT&T, T-Mobile in my experience SUCKS like Metro. Always losing service.

I have to pay full retail for a phone because I won't sign a new contract and lose my unlimited data.

I had a BlackBerry a few years ago with Verizon and had unlimited, got rid of it, I wish I didn't. Unlimited would be nice.

$550 to be exact.

The new way costs us $400 more per year if we "subsidize" 4 sgsIII.. And if we supply our own phone we save $360. Fuckin bullshit I say, because supplying our own phones would cost around $1000.

yeah t-mobile's price is unbeatable... and I've been with them for over 7 years, and I have an epic plan that they no longer offer. Unlimited data on all lines, unlimited text/picture/media, free nights/weekends, and a bunch of share minutes on 3 phones and 1 USB data device (which I don't even use) for like $201

I'm thinking the plan isn't all that special if my service is so spotty. Also, I read on the news a while back that ATT bought out T-mobile- may be mistaken.

So with that said, anyone have any ideas... I'm thinking of getting 3 nice smartphones and 3 new lines (numbers ported over) maybe 3000 mins between all 3 and unlimited data on two of the lines. No data on the third. I am going to drop the mobile USB, i'm paying $50/month for that and I never use it.

Why do you guys say Verizon is so awesome? Coverage? Bandwidth?

I simply prefer Verizon because of coverage, no point in paying for a phone if I can't use it whenever I want.

yea that $20 over 2 years..that's a gimmick..that makes you stuck paying for a phone that will be obsolete after 3 months. Tmobile is becoming a bigger and bigger scam artist

they stopped at&t from buying tmobile. so that never came into fruition, but the quote below is why i say verizon is awesome, it's definitely not the price of the plans...i'd end up paying $35 more if i do plan to switch, fukin sucks

Damn, you all got some crazy phone bills. I pay $10/mo but of course it would be more if I used data. I'd rather spend the cash elsewhere though. My wife has tmobile with unlimited everything for $50/mo.

Yep! I have Verizon and love the fact that I'm talking in places others with other phone providers can't. I pay $120/month for unlimited talk and text and 300mb of data. We have 2 desktops, 2 laptops, a NookHD and the PS3 at home if I need to be on the internet. I have no purposeful reason to be attached to the world 24 hours a day to justify a more ridiculous phone bill.

I'm on Verizon and I average nearly 5 gigs of data a month cayse I stream music all day at work. A data plan to support my usage would cost me another 30 a month.
