89 Conquest. 65k original miles. SHP package.

All mods are done in the interest of improving reliability.
Rebuilt forged engine, stainless valves, cleaned up bowls and ports
Throttle body rebuilt and divider removed
Factory fuel injection in tip top shape
Radiator cleaned and rodded
Battery moved to trunk (under the hood it is right next to fusible links and relays where it causes corrosion and failure)
Extra grounds added
GM alternator conversion
Volt, Temp, and Oil Pressure gauges since the stockers are slow to respond to changes

Everything else is 100% OEM. Out of the couple dozen or so I have owned over the years, I think this is the best running one of them all and it just happens to be the most stock of them all. Had been thinking of trading it off until today. Fired right up from a two week cold start on the first revolution. Drove around town for a few minutes and brought her back home before the kids got here. Has a few more issues to work through, like moving some ground cables to a better spot, front wheel bearings, and a blown front shock. After a day of wrenching on those, it'll be in tip top shape, aside from the typical mitsubishi clear coat peel.

It is a weekend warrior and wears it grime and gunk with pride. I really just haven't had time to wash it, so here it is, bird shit and all.

I've always liked these. I tried and tried to get a guy to sell me his with a blown motor but he wouldn't sell it. Its still rotting away in a back year right now.
