Probable one of the best running cheap cars I've ever worked on. My brother spent next to nothing to buy this car with some front end damage and has just been driving the hell out of it for 2 years with no problems. He finally got tired of the color so we fixed the front end damage and painted it. Last weekend we lowered it and installed some visors. Not a bad little car for almost no money.

Don't have any before pics.

Painting it.

Next up is to tint the tail and corner lights and it will be a nice little slow car.

..and exactly what do you plan on doing to the tail lights? Please don't say "tinting them out".

I'm guessing you didn't see this part? \/ \/ \/

I'll be honest, I'm not a fan, my man. It's mostly the painting of the factory wheels. That's pretty much always a no go.

I'm not a fan of the painted stock rims ether. He buying rims for it soon and the ugly stock ones are going away.

His car and he wants them lightly tented. I have lightly tented tail light on my Jeep and I like the look. There is a point when they are just to dark and then I don't like them.

holy crap, if your Jeep lights are lightly tinted I'd hate to see what a regular tinted light looks like...damn.

Why does he "need" to do that? That makes no sense at all.

I was like "why" until I read that he got the car for next to nothing and driving it for a couple of years.
I'm all for toying with cars trying to spend as little as possible.

+1 on getting rid of those stock wheels.

Need to get a headlight restoration kit though. :boobies:

IMHO I think doing a red tint over the amber areas would be about as far as I would go. I have a hard time processing the idea of reducing any light output from tail lights, I like the idea of having them being very visible and easy to see, especially with the fucktards on Atlanta's roads. There are a few applications of lightly tinted tail lights that I find OK, like when the lens is smooth and/or clear.

Looking forward to seeing it with new wheels on. Any plans to ditch the silly little mudflaps? +1 on buffing those headlights too!

If your looking at my signiture picture the filter make the picture darker than in person. You can easy see the red under the tint and the light loss at night is not even noticeable. Mine are still a little to dark for my liking but as soon as I get the money for the body armor the tail lights are going to be replaced with round LED tractor trailer lights.

That makes no since at all. Sell a perfectly running 4 door car for a 2 door. Why?

I just messed with plenty of Sentras and the 4 door has no good looks or advantage unless you have kids IMO

What does your opinion have to do with Mike's brother, though?
