Well I went to Ga Southern for 3 years.. had 15 hours to go to get my BS in Biology.. and going into my last year.. my hardest classes.. I started to do poorly feeling real burnt out so I withdrew mid-semester to avoid hurting my GPA. Well I took 6 months off, went to Gwinnett Tech, took two classes which I got an A in both. Then, I took 4 quarters off to wait for the Vet Tech program.. and I got accepted. Now that Im back in School full-time I'm feeling that burnt out feeling again and I'm not even interested in studying as much as I do. I think I've decided its time for me to back out gracefully and find another thing to do with my life. I figured going back for something I loved to do.. being a Vet Tech would inspire me to want to do good.. I dont even want to.. I dont care to.. and im not so sure I wanna go back to working at a vet. I know now is when I need to start deciding what I wanna do for my future.. so I think I'm going to start looking at other places for a job and find something i love doing and im good at..(/End Rant)

You should stay in school for sure being that close. If you want to change your mind about anything its cool but at least you have the degree to sit on and that improves your chance of getting a job anywhere.
You booze ,you lose! Stay in school.

I've thought about that and I know I could always take night classes at state to finish off my BS... but right now I dont think I wanna do it for the simple fact if Im not interested.. I wont try and I dont wanna fuck up a good GPA ya know?

Are you not wanting to screw up your good GPA because of scholarships or because you dont want anything less than a 3.0? If its not because of scholarships, go ahead , take a couple C's and get your degree. Nobody will probably even care. Plus, it doesnt note your GPA on your degree anyways! Also, putting your GPA on your resume is about useless. Also, a couple C's wont hurt your GPA that much since youve got so many credit hours already.

Hope checks every 30 hours for status right? If you are close to finishing, they wont check?

I say to take at least one class a semester to try and finish the degree atleast. You are so close that it would be foolish to stop now.

stay in n get some sort of degree. it will be that much easier for you to ge t a job elsewhere. I already quitmy technician job but staying in school for the degree. i dont give two shits about working on cars everyday now, but i got something under my belt to show that 1) I stick with something(jobs love that) 2) I have an education.

They checky at the end of spring semester now ..... To stop those people who would take 28 hours...lose hope....but can take another semester free.So lets say I take 15 hours this semester and make like a 2.8 or something gpa, and take like 12 hours next semester and make like a 3.6. So, I'll have 27 hours total, are they going to average those two gpa's or no for hope purposes?
