Hey IA,
About 2 months ago my driver's door handle started "slipping" when I tried to open the door, and then the outside handle just stopped working and has gone limp. I can only open the door through the inside driver handle by climbing inside from the passenger door. I took off the door panel and looked inside at the mechanism and I don't know what is wrong...
The outside handle still catches a mechanism but doesn't open it, and it feels like a spring fell off or something. The inside drivers handle catches two mechanisms and opens the door. I'd really like to get this fixed but I don't know how or where to begin. I would like to open my driver's door from the outside again! Please help!!!
