[JITB]

"It was originally black. I purchased it just 10 months ago. My first idea was to keep the car black just add some wheels and just focus on performance, but I decided to veer from that plan once I started to look at some of the other Vettes in Houston they all looked the same. So I hooked up with the guys at EVS motors (http://www.evsmotors.com/) and we decided that ADV1 wheels (http://adv1wheels.com/adv1wheels/index.php) are the way to go. I was going to still keep it black but the paint was so damaged from the previous owner that it needed a new paint job. I decided to paint it balloon white with a satin finish paint job was done by Pasadena auto collision."

thats all it is, as he progresses we will take more pictures as update posts as usual. Nothing crazy to see as of yet.

I should have been more clear. What makes a lowered Corvette with after market wheels "feature-worthy?" I understand a thread and I didn't mean it like a general thread. Feature threads are usually about cars that are done. Not like this.

lol my thoughts exactly....everyone would be featured if thats all it took.....I would up the standards of what a feature worthy car should be, to be honest.

But vette's are amazing cars. Trying racing a vette around a track in a mustang and see how well that works out for ya. The vette is so much more than just quick in a straight line.

To me feature worthy is a car thats clean (as in a owner that takes care of it), has a owner that does it because he loves the community. Anyone can dump money into every little piece, but sometimes the owner has other things in mind.. Sure he can heavily mod the motor and spend 10k in interior. But, why? These motors are strong, interior looks fine. And clearly has a owner that cares for the car. And last but not least, has a group like Southrnfresh to do the coverage because they like it for what is. Not, what money has been thrown at it.

My opinion though.

Again, though, a paint job doesn't make a feature spot. Even if it is the same color as a Lambo.

agree w/ this post, and especially the last statement, corvettes are nice, but, as i've gotten older, there's really not much i could do to it to make me really LOVE that car. now...let me get a 03-04 cobra, then we talking about something, and i HATE ford products

There is no set standard for a feature car......... some cars are just pleasing to look at it. Some are built cars with thousands of dollars into it. Its not a real complicated concept.

I still dont know why there needs to be a standard on what is done to a car and what is not to be posted on the internet. On the site along with the photos it states how and why we feature cars, its a progression as we update the viewers on cars overtime. Posting completed cars is a easy task everyone does it on many blogs. We dont leech to people with nice cars for pictures and a feature, we follow and feature the whole entire build.

Opinions are fair not arguing if anyone likes it or not, it doesnt matter. Just clarifying why we feature
